Payments
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel our contract for any reason, written notice is required (email is acceptable). If cancellation occurs 100 days or more prior to your event date, the retainer will be refunded in full. If cancellation occurs 99 days or less days before your event date, the retainer is non-refundable and considered liquidated damages to photographer. Payments made beyond the initial retainer are 100% refundable, assuming you haven’t spent that money an engagement photo shoot, wall art, prints, albums, etc.
Once we receive your cancellation request, a team member will email you to confirm that it’s been received. A credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method (credit card or otherwise) within 14 business days. Please note: Certain items are non-refundable, including: Gift cards, Downloadable digital files, and All digital products.
Postponements:
If for any reason you need to change the event date in our contract, I’ll do my best to accommodate your new date without additional fees, subject to availability. If I’m unavailable on your new date, and your request is made with less than 100 days before your contract date, your retainer is non-refundable. However, your retainer may be used toward future sessions, products or gifted to a friend at my discretion.
Non-Performance:
In the unlikely event I cannot photograph your wedding due to illness, emergency, or other circumstances beyond my control, please say a prayer for my family, my well-being and mental health. In the unlikely event I cannot photograph your wedding, but an associate photographer is available, you will receive a 40% refund from your total package price. In the unlikely event the second or third photographer is unavailable due to illness, emergency or other circumstances beyond my control, and a suitable replacement cannot be found, their fee will be refunded.
Turnaround & Satisfaction:
My work is delivered with care and attention to detail. Online galleries are available for viewing within 14-21 business days. Please note I am closed the last two weeks in November and December 10 – January 10 every year (plan accordingly). While photography is an art and subjective by nature, I aim to exceed expectations. Refunds for delivered creative work are not offered, though adjustments or corrections may be considered at my discretion.
