Traditional wedding portraiture is not my most favorite thing to do — and I cannot work with clients who are afraid to take risks. I enjoy chasing moments that surprise even me. I like when the veil catches wind, when the frame feels imperfect, when laughter ruins the pose. That’s where the truth lives — in the in-between.
My work is about movement, texture, and emotion — bold enough to try something new, refined enough to make it timeless. Whether it’s a hay bail at the Red Maple Vinyard, a Catskill field at golden hour, or a candlelit Saratoga ballroom, I approach every celebration as an experiment in beauty and honesty. Because the best images aren’t staged — they’re discovered.
